Free Website Terms

1. Overview

Clayton Solutions offers a discretionary Free Website Design service (“Free Website Offer”) to selected businesses. By accepting this offer, you agree to the terms outlined below.

This Free Website Offer is ongoing and available at the sole discretion of Clayton Solutions.

2. Eligibility & Discretion

2.1 The Free Website Offer is provided entirely at the discretion of Clayton Solutions.

2.2 We reserve the right to decline any project for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Website complexity

• Required custom functionality

• Project scope

• Industry type

• Timeline constraints

2.3 The Free Website Offer is intended for standard brochure-style websites.

3. Scope of Free Website

3.1 The Free Website Offer includes the design and build of a standard website layout.

3.2 If the project requires custom functionality, integrations, advanced features, or complex development, it will be classified as a Custom Project.

3.3 Custom Projects start at £997 and will be quoted separately.

Clayton Solutions reserves sole discretion in determining whether a website qualifies as a Free Website or a Custom Project.

4. “Try Before You Commit” Model

4.1 Clayton Solutions may build a website at no upfront cost.

4.2 Once completed, the client may:

• Accept and proceed with hosting under Clayton Solutions, or

• Decline the project with no obligation to continue (subject to Section 6).

4.3 Clayton Solutions retains full ownership of the website until a hosting agreement is entered into or the code is released under the self-hosting option.

5. Hosting With Clayton Solutions (£97 per month)

If the client chooses to host the website with Clayton Solutions:

5.1 Monthly Fee: £97 per month.
5.2 Cancel anytime with written notice.
5.3 Hosting package includes:

• Website hosting

• Ongoing maintenance

• SEO updates

• Unlimited edits

• Unlimited revisions

• Unlimited additional pages

5.4 Hosting fees must remain current. Failure to pay may result in suspension or removal of the website.

5.5 Clayton Solutions retains management control of hosting infrastructure.

6. Self-Hosting Option

If the client chooses not to host with Clayton Solutions:

6.1 The Free Website Offer includes:

• One (1) webpage

• One (1) set of revisions

6.2 After completion of the agreed revisions, a code folder of the website will be provided to the client.

6.3 The client assumes full responsibility for:

• Hosting setup

• Security

• Maintenance

• Updates

• SEO

• Technical management

6.4 Clayton Solutions provides no ongoing support once the code folder has been delivered.

7. Ownership & Intellectual Property

7.1 Until hosting is activated or final files are delivered under the self-hosting option, all website designs and assets remain the intellectual property of Clayton Solutions.

7.2 Clayton Solutions reserves the right to display completed projects in its portfolio and marketing materials.

8. Project Selection Rights

Clayton Solutions reserves the right to:

• Accept or decline any project

• Withdraw the Free Website Offer at any time

• Modify these terms at its discretion

9. Limitation of Liability

Clayton Solutions shall not be liable for:

• Business losses

• Indirect or consequential damages

• Website downtime outside of its control

• Third-party hosting issues (under self-hosting option)

10. Amendments

Clayton Solutions reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms become effective upon publication.
